Booking Details

Distance Sessions

For distance sessions, you’re welcome to share anything you’d like addressed ahead of time — or you can simply allow the session to unfold intuitively without offering any details in advance. Both are equally supported.

You’ll receive a quick email or text when your session begins, and once it’s complete, I’ll send you a voice recording explaining everything your body communicated and prioritized for healing.

New Clients

To help you feel settled and supported from the start, new client intake forms are available in advance. Please complete these before your first session so we can devote our time to your care rather than paperwork.

If you are joining in person and prefer to fill it out onsite, please arrive 5 minutes early so you have unhurried time to complete your health history form. Address location will be sent in your reminder email.

Late Arrival

If you’re running late, no worries — please come in when you arrive. Out of respect for clients after you, your session will still end at the scheduled time, but you will receive as much supportive care as possible within your remaining appointment window.

Initial Visits

Your first visit (whether BodyTalk or massage) may begin with 5–10 minutes of gentle intake and assessment so I can fully understand your needs and care for you appropriately. If you’d like to know more about what to expect, you can visit the BodyTalk FAQ page anytime.

Payment

Payment can be made by e-transfer, cash, cheque, or credit card via our online booking system.
A receipt will be provided for insurance reimbursement. Because each plan is unique, please check with your provider in advance regarding coverage for massage therapy or BodyTalk (some plans require a doctor’s note).

Cancellations

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. If something comes up, 24 hours notice gives us the opportunity to offer the spot to someone on the waiting list.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $75 late-cancellation fee.

There is a $25 fee for any NSF transactions.

If you have any questions or something feels tender and you want me to be aware of it before your session, please reach out anytime. I’m here for you.

Warmly,
Kristin

Gentle Preparation Guide

Before Your Session

  • Tune in to how you’re feeling. Notice any physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, or stressors that are present. You don’t need to analyze them — just gently notice.

  • Set an intention (optional but powerful).
You might ask yourself: “What am I ready to release, receive, or understand?”

  • Hydrate well. Water helps the body integrate energetic and emotional shifts more smoothly.

During Your Session

You are welcome to:

  • rest or relax

  • meditate or lie down

  • or go about your day as normal

There is no “right way” to receive — your body knows how to participate, even if your mind is busy.

If you’re receiving an in-person session, simply arrive as you are.
If your session is distance-based, you’ll receive an email or text when the session begins.

After Your Session

You may notice shifts emotionally, physically, mentally, or energetically — right away or gently unfolding over the next few days.

Support your integration by:

  • drinking water

  • resting when your body asks

  • giving yourself time to feel, not rush

  • honouring what arises with compassion

  • having an epsom salt bath

  • journaling your insights, feelings or reflections

  • eating nourishing foods

  • listening to your body

Recommended Session Frequency

Healing is a process, and your body, mind, and nervous system benefit most when given the time and space to integrate change. For new clients, we recommend beginning with three sessions spaced about 2 weeks apart.

Here’s why this approach is so effective:

1. Integration Time

After each session, your body continues to process shifts in subtle ways — physically, emotionally, and energetically. A two-week interval gives your system the chance to absorb the changes, notice patterns, and begin reorganizing itself naturally.

2. Deepening Awareness

Healing is more than symptom relief — it’s about reconnecting with your body’s wisdom. Over multiple sessions, you begin to recognize how emotions, beliefs, and physical sensations are linked, and how shifts in one area influence the others.

3. Cumulative Transformation

While a single session can create meaningful change, multiple sessions allow you to build momentum. By the third session, most clients notice a clearer sense of alignment, balance, and inner ease, as the nervous system has had repeated opportunities to release and reorganize.

4. Creating Lasting Change

Spacing sessions too far apart can slow progress, while spacing them too closely can overwhelm the nervous system. Two weeks is often the “sweet spot” — giving your system time to integrate while still maintaining consistent support.

After completing your initial three sessions, we’ll work together to determine a personalized ongoing plan that aligns with your unique needs, lifestyle, and healing goals.

Your body knows the way — these sessions are designed to help you listen, respond, and move gently toward deeper health, vitality, and clarity.
